Special Alloy Steel Suppliers and Manufacturer

A high-performance alloy created for particular uses is called special alloy steel. It is extremely strong, resilient to corrosion, and resistant to high temperatures. These materials are used extensively in the chemical processing, maritime engineering, power generating, and aerospace industries.

Gerald & Son Trading provides a range of premium special alloy steels, such as Inconel, Monel, precision alloys, titanium alloys, high-temperature alloys, precipitation-hardened stainless steel, and Hastelloy. If you have any questions, you can get in touch with us immediately to find out about our inventory of different product specifications and costs.

Various Types of Special Alloy Steel

Inconel Alloys

Incoloy alloy is a class of high-performance alloys based on iron, with added elements such as chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and titanium, designed for high-temperature and corrosion-resistant applications. These alloys are widely used in petrochemical, nuclear energy, aerospace, and industrial boilers, and can maintain excellent structural stability and mechanical strength in extreme working environments.

Typical Grades:

  • ncoloy800, Incoloy800H, Incoloy800HT, Incoloy825, Incoloy 925, Incoloy 925H, Incoloy 330, Incoloy 903, Incoloy 926, Incoloy 27-7MO, etc.

Hastelloy Alloy

Hastelloy is a nickel-based alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance in extreme environments, especially in acidic and chloride-containing environments. It has high resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and oxidation.

    • Main features: excellent corrosion resistance, especially suitable for extreme chemical environments.

    • Application areas: chemical processing equipment, pollution control systems, marine engineering, etc.

Precision Alloys

Precision alloys are used in applications that require high dimensional accuracy and stability. These alloys usually have unique electrical, magnetic and mechanical properties and are widely used in electronic equipment, medical equipment, and precision instrument industries.

    • Main features: high precision, excellent magnetic and electrical properties.

    • Application areas: electronic components, measuring instruments, high-precision machinery, etc.

Titanium Alloys

Titanium alloys are popular for their excellent strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility. These alloys play an important role in applications that require high strength, lightweight, and corrosion resistance, such as aerospace, medical implants, and marine environments.

    • Main features: lightweight, high strength, and excellent corrosion resistance.

    • Application areas: aerospace structures, medical equipment, marine parts, etc.

High Temperature Alloys

High-temperature alloys (also called superalloys) are materials used in extreme temperatures that are able to maintain strength and resist oxidation and mechanical stress in high-temperature environments. These alloys are key materials for gas turbines, jet engines, and power plants.

  • Main features: Excellent strength and oxidation resistance at high temperatures.

  • Application areas: Jet engines, gas turbines, exhaust systems, etc.

Monel Alloys

Monel alloy is mainly composed of nickel and copper, and the addition of elements improves its corrosion resistance and strength. Monel alloy performs well in saltwater environments and is highly resistant to seawater and acid corrosion.

Main features: high strength, especially for excellent corrosion resistance in marine environments. Application areas: marine engineering, chemical processing, oil and gas exploration, etc.
