In the hot-dip galvanizing process, steel is submerged in a bath of molten zinc, whereas electro-galvanizing uses an electrolytic process to apply zinc. The outcome is a tightly bonded zinc layer that adheres to the steel through an iron-zinc bond. Our hot-dip galvanized products are manufactured to ASTM A653 standards, and our electro-galvanized products meet ASTM A879 standards.
